Born, raised & educated in Victoria British Columbia, Chris realized his “first” career of 18 years developing, building, marketing, and operating world-class “fly-in only” recreational salmon fishing resorts from the Central Coast to the Queen Charlotte Islands in British Columbia.
In 2006, Chris founded BioMaxx Environmental with a state-of-the-art formula for a pH neutral, “green” Bio-Stimulant to eliminate hazardous waste gasses from municipal and industrial infrastructures. Under Chris’ vision and entrepreneurial direction, BioMaxx quickly became a National industry leader solving water and wastewater challenges for hundreds of clients within municipalities and industry, with offices and from British Columbia to Newfoundland and Labrador.
In 2018, through Chris’ innovation, vision, and leadership, AltoMaxx Technologies was created. AltoMaxx provides an outstanding level of excellence and professionalism as a leader of RPAS in Canada and with UAV partners & international clients throughout the world. AltoMaxx’s goal is to drive the UAV/RPAS industry forward by providing clients and partners with the best tools and technical services possible. Chris’ team of world-class technical experts and their dedication to continuous improvement, provides an unwavering commitment to deliver comprehensive end-to-end solutions across industries and geographies to help clients realize the unlimited possibilities of AltoMaxx’s drone services and technologies.
Steve has 24 years in the environmental and innovation sector as well 10+ years of C-level management experience. He has worked with municipalities and Indigenous communities across Canada, assisting communities with their water and wastewater needs prior to AltoMaxx.
In 2018 Steve co-founded AltoMaxx Technologies with Chris, as they recognized that the industry was truly lacking professional and credible RPAS training and service providers. Through the team’s hard work and determination, Altomaxx has been able to expand nationally with four offices across Canada and become leaders in the RPAS sector, providing the highest quality outputs on the market. With a vastly expanding global presence, AltoMaxx has become a household name within the RPAS world.
Steve loves the travel and education that comes along with this career, and learning from first-hand experience in the field. He is passionate about his work, and loyal and dedicated to his employees, customers and external stakeholders.
Jared Seufert has his diploma in Instrumentation Engineering Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and has also received his Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM). Before starting his career with AltoMaxx, Jared was a Project Management Supervisor at a Natural Gas Analyzer company, which taught him a lot about the Oil & Gas industry in Alberta and Internationally. Jared also sits on multiple divisions within the International Society of Automation.
In his free time, he likes to curl, snowmobile, play hockey, play disc golf, hike, camp, and travel.
Jonathan Alexander - Business Development Specialist with a wealth of experience in B2B and technical solution implementations. Passionate about expanding drone adoption and taking proven technologies into new markets, he strongly believes the key to effective stakeholder collaboration is an effective and well run analysis of project requirements. Outside of work, Jonathan is an avid fisherman and loves spending time out on the water.
Jordan Evans - Business Development Specialist based in Ontario, has a genuine interest in drones, technology, and innovation. Through a commitment to practical solutions and excellent service, he has supported numerous companies of all sizes on their journey of innovation and drone implementation. Outside of work, Jordan enjoys spending time in the outdoors, particularly fishing along the Great Lakes.
Maria is passionate about innovative RPAS / UAV technology because long term planetary sustainability depends on it. Maria has worked in internationally in a number of different companies, however her roots have brought her back to Newfoundland and Labrador. Maria’s values appreciate and approach collaboration and co-creation. With a background in environmental studies Maria encourages advancements for the betterment of humankind and planetary stewardship. By teaching the population about different RPAS / UAV applications we are better able to monitor, inspect, detect and prevent mishaps. “Anything efficient excites me!” With that, RPAS / UAV’s are just her speed.
Maria’s career began with sustainable development and monitoring fish stocks with different government agencies before she transitioned into the world of policy where she developed and implemented safety programs for multiple companies. She later joined the AltoMaxx team where her drive for safety still remains. Maria appreciates the learn and share cycle that our work environment provides. Her time off is spent practicing yoga or with her pets.
Wilson Ekpotu is an Engineering Professional with a background in petroleum engineering from Nigeria. He holds a Master’s Degree in Energy Systems Engineering from the Memorial University of Newfoundland. Additionally, he also has an Executive Degree in Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies by Stanford University School of Engineering, USA.
Born in Africa, Wilson is originally from Akwa-Ibom state, Nigeria, and has worked as an engineering professional in quality assurance and control for several years. In line with his Quality Assurance Experience, he is a registered Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T) with PEGNl here in Newfoundland and is also an IRCA Quality Auditor registered with the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) where he has built expertise within this field in Canada.
He has worked on several significant projects in Nigeria where he served as the quality lead for field operations, including carrying out internal and external audits. Interestingly, he has also worked in Canada and has gathered relevant professional certifications ranging from NEBOSH, ASME (Inspection, Repair and Alterations of In-Service Pressure Equipment),ASME B31.3, ISO 9001:2015, ISO/IEC 17021-1, Lean Six Sigma – Green & yellow belt and other globally recognized certifications for quality assurance and control.
Born and raised in St. John's, Newfoundland, Harrison holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Memorial University of Newfoundland. With a strong background in marketing and business development, Harrison drives growth and builds client relationships, complemented by hands-on experience as a certified drone pilot. As an aviation enthusiast, Harrison recognizes the transformative potential of drone technology and is dedicated to pioneering its application in industrial inspections, enhancing efficiency, safety, and accuracy.
With the call sign “Maverick”, Jordan is a regular Tom Cruise. He flies RPAS/UAV’s fast and delicate and is one of the best RPAS Operators in North America. Jordan has a passion for RPAS’s and they are in his blood. With his education in both Environmental Sciences and Underwater Rovers, RPAS/UAV’s were a natural fit.
Jordan started his career with Biomaxx Environmental and quickly worked his way up through the ranks with his skills in leak detection, and flow monitor trouble shooting. He became a lead hand and was instrumental in growing the company through training other staff and his dedication to the job. Jordan joined AltoMaxx when it was founded and became one of Atlantic Canada’s first flight reviewers and has led training throughout the region.
Jordan has flown RPAS/UAV’s internationally on missions and has the skill and touch to fly in the toughest environments, whether that is inside confined spaces, or outside in hard to reach areas, always obtaining optimal data for clients and external stakeholders alike. In his downtime, Jordan likes to fly RPAS’s, use the flight simulator, play soccer, watch the Montreal Canadians, or visit his family in Grand Bank, Newfoundland and Labrador.
